If you would like to help out beyond spreading the word, there are several ways to do so, depending on how much time you want to devote to this: 1. Mentor interns in a generic way, like reviewing patches, giving advice on communicating with kernel developers, etc. 2. Review intern applications, and help other mentors out. 3. Add your project to the list of sponsored projects, and mentor an intern with contributions to your project. If you're interested in any of these options, please contact [:SarahSharp:Sarah Sharp]. = Option 1: Generic Mentoring = If you would like to do this, please join the [https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/opw-kernel opw-kernel mailing list]. Also, make sure you're on the #opw channel on irc.gnome.org. That's the channel for OPW applicants for all OPW projects. Finally, please join the #kernelnewbies and #kernel-opw channels on irc.oftc.net. = Option 2: Helping mentors out = Contact [:SarahSharp:Sarah Sharp] you want to do this, and she will send you an invite to the mailing list for OPW kernel mentors. We also need people to review the instructions for how applicants can send their first patch. Any help editing the OPW specific parts of the kernelnewbies.org wiki is appreciated. = Option 3: Sponsoring a project = If you want to do this, please add your project to our [:OPWIntro:intro page]. If you don't have editing access to kernelnewbies.org, please create an account, and email [:SarahSharp:Sarah Sharp] with your username. I'll add you to the EditorsGroup page. You'll also need to create/update your username home page. At the bare minimum, you need to provide your email address, and nicks on the #opw, #kernel-opw, and #kernelnewbies channel. Anything else is optional.
